  17. I'm using a downloaded binary version of ckermit version 8.0.209 on a SCO
  18. OpenServer box (v. 5.0.6). The kermit executable was downloaded from the
  19. main http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/ web site.

  21. If we have 10 or more than users logged in to our SCO OpenServer box (but
  22. only one is running kermit) then kermit will fail to run the external ssh
  23. client. The error that gets displayed is;

  25. : No such file or directory
  26. Can't connect to ssh -e none -l root <hostname>
  27.  
  28. If you have 9 users connected then ssh gets run correctly. This is with
  29. exactly the same configuration file. What is bizarre is that if 9 people are
  30. logged in you are running kermit, ssh will work. If 10th user logs in,
  31. whilst you're in kermit, ssh will fail. If the number of users connected
  32. goes back down to 9 or less, ssh will start working again.

  34. Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this or what areas I should check?
  35. It seems more SCO related then kermit though.
